THREE OCEANS AND ONE LAND
Performance for choir, dance ensemble and 3 channel video installation

The abstract dance-performance is inspired by the Charlottetown Conference but also explores the relation of a people and its land and an ongoing political process. There are five movements: ENTRANCE, CIRCLE, BRINGING AN IDEA, DEBATE, CONSENSUS.
The three video projections relate to the three oceans:
North: (middle projection) Arctic Ocean, night/day, Pingo National Landmark, Tuktoyaktuk, NWT
East: (right projection) Atlantic Ocean, sunrise, Cape Bear Prince Edward Island
West: (left projection) Pacific Ocean, sunset; Cox Bay, Long Beach Tofino Vancouver Island.
